Privacy policy

We use the information you provide, including your name, email address, delivery details, account information and order history. If you save an address or provide a PreHospitalHalo member email, we also store that information.

Please do not send patient-identifiable information, confidential clinical records or sensitive health information through the shop or with academic work.

We use your information to process and deliver orders, provide order tracking, manage your account and respond to enquiries. Order processing is necessary to perform our contract with you. We may retain records where required by law, and use information for legitimate interests such as preventing fraud and protecting the shop.

Stripe processes checkout payments. We do not store your full payment card details. Stripe uses payment information under its own privacy notice.

Information needed to operate the shop may be handled by hosting and account providers, payment processors and delivery providers. Where personal information is transferred outside the UK, appropriate safeguards are required under applicable data protection law.

With your permission in regions that require consent, we share limited information with Meta Platforms to measure the performance of our Facebook and Instagram advertising. This includes online identifiers such as a cookie ID and information about the pages you view; it does not include your name, contact details or order contents.

Where consent is not required, this measurement runs unless you opt out. You can change or withdraw your choice with the Cookie settings link in the footer, and manage Meta's use of your information through the ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.

Personal information should be retained only for as long as needed to fulfil orders, support customers and meet legal, accounting or security requirements. Closing an account does not necessarily remove records that must be kept by law.

Under UK data protection law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your information, object to certain processing, and receive a portable copy. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it. Some rights are subject to legal exceptions.

To make a privacy request, contact the shop using the contact details accompanying your order. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
